Teton Valley’s Most Trusted General Contractor & Framing Specialist
Max is the founder and lead contractor at Timberhouse Construction, a framing and general contracting company based in Teton Valley, Idaho. He’s been building homes, decks, and exteriors in high-altitude mountain towns since 2013, when he got his start in Colorado.

Over a Decade of Mountain Construction Experience
Max has built a reputation for being the guy who doesn’t just “get the job done”—he gets it done right, the first time. Whether he’s framing a custom home from the ground up or stepping in mid-project to fix what someone else left behind, Max is known for clean work, sharp timelines, and a serious eye for detail.
But Timberhouse Construction isn’t just Max—it’s a highly skilled team of framers, finishers, and siding pros who bring consistency and precision to every job here in Teton Valley. Most of the crew has worked together for years, which means they operate like a unit, not a revolving door of unorganized subs. The team knows how to move fast, think ahead, and hold the line on quality.

Led by Max — On Site and All In
The Timberhouse team has worked on homes across Victor, Driggs, Alta, Tetonia, Felt, and Ashton—and they understand firsthand what Teton Valley weather can do to a poorly built structure. That’s why they’re selective about materials, meticulous with layout, and upfront when something needs to be rethought. Clients trust them because they don’t create problems—they solve them.
Their specialties include:
- Cold-weather construction and snow-load-aware framing
- Custom siding installs (wood, LP, metal) that last through real winters
- Timber framing, deck building, and finish carpentry that bring both function and polish to a space

While Timberhouse runs as a tight-knit crew, Max stays fully in the mix—living in Teton Valley year-round with his wife, Paige, and their dog Bear (who most would argue is the real foreman). When he’s not wrangling framing with a nail gun, you’ll find Max chasing snow on his sled or tearing up trails on his dirt bike.
